SIMATIC IPC477D represents a fanless embedded Panel PC powered by 3rd gen. Intel Core processors up to Core i7 for demanding visualization and control tasks - with single- or multitouch displays.

The SIMATIC IPC477D is designed for use directly on the machine, where the combination of ruggedness and maximum reliability is a major priority (the reliability of an embedded platform) and the openness of a PC is also required (e.g. module expansion and the connection of I/O devices such as printers, keyboards, etc.).

Due to the minimal mounting depth, it can also be used in confined spaces.

The PC can be used in production automation as well as in process automation and can be mounted in control cabinets, control desks or 19" cabinets/racks.

The SIMATIC IPC477D is the ideal platform for PC-based Automation:

  • PC-based visualization on-site at the machine with SIMATIC WinCC Advanced or WinCC Professional
  • PC-based Control with SIMATIC WinAC RTX
  • SIMATIC WinCC Client (standard or multi client) for distributed operator control and monitoring
  • SIMATIC WinCC as single-user station solution for centralized operator control and monitoring (also in combination with WinCC WebNavigator server)
